As we near the start of another playing season the new sand waste area on the 10th hole is bedding in well. High winds over the last few weeks has moved a lot of sand around giving the area a more natural feel.

Work to improve the 9th hole continues. Contractors have now moved off site. Another fantastic job by JWN Contracting limited. A walkway will to be installed when materials arrive on site. Over the next few months the team will now complete various tasks across the project. Mackenzie & Ebert

Training the new puppy

This week contractors completed the last of our project work. An area to the left of the 11th hole was opened up to create some fantastic views, providing a corridor between the 10th and 11th holes.Over 500t of sand was generated which will be reused as topdressing. JWN Contracting limited

One of the main projects over the last few months has been opening the 9th carry. Creating a dramatic new habitat and improve visibility of the entire hole. Last week railway sleepers were installed creating the pathway which will carry golfers from tee to fairway. JWN Contracting limited

This morning Head Professional Garry Brown hit the first ball officially opened our new 9th hole. Huge credit to everyone involved and thanks you to our members for their patience over the last 6 months. A great addition which will really add to the golfing experience at Ganton.

Last big project of 2024 complete. Brilliant work by Joe Tiplady, Andy West and our contractor JW Napthine. Full Transformation of our 16th fairway bunker, raising the base by 1/2 metre. Lots of Railway sleepers and lots of sand.
