Started the new term with KS4 today by celebrating our 'Academic Reading Booklets' - highlighting great examples with lots of prizes, praise, and reminders for the term ahead. A lovely way to start the term!🏆

Reading through the Conscious Crafting booklets this half-term, this was consistently one of my favourite areas: Opening, Flashback, Link to Main Paragraph! Reading the variety and originality was just a joy 😍Incredible efforts!

Utilising 'Reverse Engineering' tasks across both Literature and Language proved highly effective revision tools last term, as well as useful in developing writing stamina✍️💨. Pose a sentence, idea or concept and ask students to "show their working out" 💭
