Tornado warning for the Little Rock area has been dropped. These storms are severe, but no strong rotation at this time.

Eastern half of AR, we need to keep an eye out for you tonight. A new Tornado Watch covers you until 9pm.

We are seeing a debris signature for NE Lonoke County near Hwy 319. This indicates a tornado has touched down. This is on Lonoke/Faulkner County line.

Areas NE of Hwy 319 & Hwy 5 need to take cover now. This is about to move into western White County.

Lowering of clouds and funnels trying to form over Sienna Lake at Crystal Valley in SW Little Rock earlier this evening. No touchdown in this area.

A line of storms is pushing into NW AR this morning. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for that area down to Van Buren & Conway counties. The biggest threat is gusty, damaging winds with a few of these storms. They are expected to weaken as they move east. KATV News

Watching this line of storms moving thru Western AR. Strongest one is now NE of Fort Smith and it has shown signs of rotation, A tornado warning is in affect for the Ozark area until 8:30am. This line is expected to weaken as it moves to Central AR later this morning. KATV News

All tornado warnings have expired now in Western AR. Still a few storms that have some gusty winds, but they are showing signs of weakening. Hopefully, that trend continues as the line moves to Central AR later this morning. Take some rain gear! KATV News

The storms moving through Central AR at this time are not rotating, but there are strong winds with these. Stay inside and away from windows.

Current situation on overnight storms: Only severe storms now are those leaving NE AR. Those have been producing winds as high as 60-70mph. Storms that will be in Central AR around sunrise are just now starting to build in Western AR. I'll be here to keep an eye out! KATV News
