Sadly, this would mean the likely end of the field of Immunology. Things like the blood brain barrier, entry into tissues, process of memory generating and inter organ connections cannot be studied on a chip or using AI. So sad to see our dreams of discovery die..how to continue

As a new PI who is trying very hard to make it, 6 is limiting. This includes all co PI grants as well. I never use AI. But have already submitted 4 grants this year and would like to resubmit 2 since none are fundable first try. So it makes it hard for junior faculty to survive

Seems like end of an era for a lot of us scientists :( 4% payline is insane....this doesn't help anyone with cancer. While we are trying to find anything we can to improve GBM outcomes.....this is what is happening...
