I love the efforts to promote Ugandan coffee locally and globally by the government of Uganda!🇺🇬☕️ However, I think it's time for a bold move - like making coffee breaks a workplace staple with FREE coffee provided by employers! 100% of that coffee was purchased from Ugandan farmers (and a few Congolese cousins😂). I can authoritatively estimate 60% was paid to them. For tax it is 2% before you think of income tax

Cheerful Villager😂 Kenneth Barigye MAAIF_Coffee Production & Development Dept Coffee breaks are the norm in Finland. We need to sit down Govt procurement officers and let them know Uganda coffee is best. This mindset change and procurement of different brands of Uganda coffee not foreign instant brands will have a wider more sustainable impact

The government has supported our sector and coffee has not disappointed. Keep the support flowing and we will get you $2Bn

The civil obedience in Uganda is admirable. Some important public servant picked rush hour to use the northern bypass and traffic was halted for the VIPs protection and convenient. For over 40 minutes all of us are patiently waiting. Not even a honk to complain. ⁦

It was a pleasure. You asked great questions and I was proud to share how Uganda’s public and private sector worked together to ensure we have systems to ensure compliance.
