Julian is 4th grade's student of the week! This title is well-deserved because Julian is one of the most caring, considerate, and kind students at KCIA. His generosity and drive to do good is so inspiring. We are so happy to celebrate Julian everyday, but especially today!

5th grade students got to explore the Environmental Science Lab at Shawnee Mission High School. They were able to work one-on-one with high school students to learn more about native animals and habitats in Missouri. Some students were even brave enough to hold the animals!

Third grade spent their last day of MAP prep going through Survivor-themed challenges! Students were put into four tribes and worked together on ELA passages, math questions, reading stamina, and best test-taking strategies. At the end, each tribe voted for their MVP.

Congratulations to our student of the week! Barbie tries in all of her classes even when it’s tough. She never gives up and always follows directions the first time. We can count on Barbie to do the right thing at lunch, specials, and even when no one is watching.
