KCNSC representatives recently participated in @HarvesterORG annual "Feastival" fundraising event, which featured a meal prepared by local chefs and students from OperationBreakthrough cooking program. KCNSC is a proud sponsor of Harvesters and the great work they do to help feed KC.

Last month, KCNSC New Mexico Operations volunteered at @RioGrandeFarm in Albuquerque. RGCF is a local nonprofit that supports sustainable urban agriculture, food security and environmental education. The NMO team helped take care of plants in the greenhouse. #doworkthatmatters

Last week, KCNSC ran in the Corporate Challenge 5k with 28 runners crossing the finish line. KCNSC earned third place with two runners earning medal points! Congratulations, team!

KCNSC New Mexico Operations employees recently volunteered at the Friends of the Public Library’s monthly used-book sale. In only two hours, the volunteers organized hundreds of books and transformed the community room into an engaging sales space.

This month the KCNSC awarded the Brad Hughes Scholarship to 10 students of KCNSC employees. This scholarship was established in 2022, when Hughes retired. The recipients receive a one-time, $4,500 scholarship in honor of Hughes’ 45 years of work to the nuclear deterrence mission

#MemorialDay is a day of remembrance for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the military. Today, we remember and honor those who lost their lives in military service.

KCNSC competed in the Kansas City Corporate Challenge weightlifting competition and won a first place in the individual competition, and the KCNSC team finished in second place overall. Congratulations, team!

Recently, two KCNSC teams competed in the KC Corporate Challenge volleyball tournament. The women’s team placed first in their competition, and the men’s team finished in third place. Congratulations to both teams!

Last night, KCNSC President Eric Wollerman accepted the Kansas City Business Journal Champions of Business award. This is the second time KCNSC has won this award, showcasing our commitment to national security, excellent business practices and the community. ow.ly/8AeO50W3yIc

Halfway through the Kansas City Corporate Challenge, and KCNSC is holding strong at fifth place. We are excited to cheer our team on at upcoming events including, basketball, pickleball and track.

Just like today, safety was a priority in 1953 for KCNSC employees, who were fitted for safety glasses and shoes to help ensure they were protected at work. #TBT

Congratulations to the winners of the KCNSC Strategy Award of Excellence, who were recently recognized for going above and beyond to drive innovation, problem-solving, collaboration and leadership in the execution of our strategy.

KCNSC managed by Honeywell FM&T hosted its annual Donut Day event last week across all campuses and shifts, celebrating with over 2,400 donuts! Leadership members got into character with donut costumes and aprons, which brought some extra excitement to this annual event!

KCNSC continued its quest for athletic adventure with the Kansas City Corporate Challenge table tennis competition. All three KCNSC teams placed fifth in the competition. Congratulations to our teams for their great effort!

This summer KCNSC is hosting 80 interns from all over the country for 10 weeks at our locations in Kansas City and New Mexico! Our interns are college students majoring in engineering, IT, HR and more. Welcome, interns!
