Class 1A Girls Basketball State Semifinals Skyline 57 Loachapoka 44 No. 1 Skyline (28-8) defeats No. 3 Loachapoka and advances to play the University Charter/Marion Co. winner in the state finals Thursday at 4 p.m.

Class 2A Girls Basketball State Semifinals Pisgah 64 Lanett 47 Final No. 1 Pisgah (32-3) advances to play either Sulligent or St. Luke’s in the state finals Friday at 9 a.m. The Eagles will try to win their fifth straight state title and 10th overall.

Class 2A Boys Basketball State Semifinals Section 81 Lanett 58 Final No. 3-ranked Section (27-9) advances to play either Mars Hill Bible or Highland Home in the state finals Friday at 10:45 a.m.

Class 2A Girls Basketball State Championship Game Pisgah 74 St. Luke’s 54 Final No. 1-ranked Pisgah (33-3) defeats No. 9 St. Luke’s to win the Class 2A state championship. It’s Pisgah’s 10th state title and AHSAA record-tying fifth consecutive state championship.

Class 2A Boys Basketball State Championship Game Section 77 Mars Hill Bible 61 Final No. 3-ranked Section (28-9) defeats Mars Hill Bible to win the Class 2A state championship, its first state title since the 2002-03 season and third all-time.
