Happy 69th birthday to the "Godfather of Black British Photography", #Birmingham's very own Vanley Burke Vanley Burke.

Iāve been writing today. Uppermost in my mind have been Hinterland Magazine UEA Archives KE Archive & of course #TheReacherGuy himself. I am struck by how much the archivist has in common with Jack Reacher ... (Plus an archival scrap of my own from Jack Reacher Books #ThrillerFest 2017)

Loved doing this interview with Jack Reacher Books for Tes magazine on a subject very close to my heart ... And reading his school reports from King Edward's School for the #TheReacherGuy was great fun. āPaddles his own canoe.ā

Heartfelt thanks from Jack Reacher Books to his old English and drama teacher King Edward's School Mr Parslew, co-star of my authorised biography #TheReacherGuy - see especially chapter 17, āGentleman Jimā. Here is my interview with Lee aka Jim Grant (1973) for Tes magazine tes.com/news/lee-childā¦
