Another amazing week for Year 7 students who attended the Wesley Hall Lunch Club on Thursday 13th March 2025, with Miss Sale. The students worked exceptionally hard throughout the day and the feedback from the Lunch Club was wonderful.

The Y7 A team faced their toughest match of the season against Sheffield Girls' High. Despite fierce competition they never gave up! Although narrowly missing out on a win it was an excellent effort by everyone👏Great to see them in their new netball kit! #TeamSpirit #Netball

It was a moment of great relief and celebration across Europe, especially in the UK, where people filled the streets with joy and hope for a peaceful future. VE Day reminds us of the sacrifices made during the war and the importance of peace and unity.

VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, is commemorated on 8th May to mark the end of World War II in Europe in 1945. On this day, Allied forces accepted the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany, bringing years of conflict on the European continent to a close.
