I am deeply happy that our special issue: ”Reticular Materials to Address Societal Challenges” is out in #AdvancedFunctionalMaterials (Advanced Portfolio News Wiley-VCH). Big thanks to: Richard Murray, Romy Ettlinger, Quim Peña, EU4MOFs! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad…

MERGED NETS 💎📄 I can’t describe 350+ new nets in 280 signs, so just watch the animation & read our new paper in Science Magazine 👨‍🎨💎👨‍🔬 with Prof. Eddaoudi_FMD3. In short, we merge nets together and get new topologies perfect for designing mix-ligand #MOFs. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

It's that time again: Volume 4 is almost ready, and we need some spoof ads to fill it out. The competition: make a funny ad and send it to us by February 1st, we'll publish all entries and the best five get journal hardcopies. Here are some previous entries: Details below 🧵

The problem is we don't have an agreed strict definition of COFs, in contrast to MOFs. This type of material is a COF in terms of the formation but not a COF in terms of the structure lacking an extended organic part.
