Another beautiful morning from Sequim, WA at CN88ka. Looks like I get to do some outdoors projects today! Mt Baker (and the Cascade Mountain Range) to the NE, looking across the Straits of Juan de Fuca.

1296 EME at CN88ka April 23, 2025. Exciting day - contacts to HD8G (super rare Galapagos Islands) K3SK W2ZQ KB7Q NC1I AA6I W3TI. Added path loss at -.93dB with Moon 371,731 Km distant. HD8G and I are both using the W2HRO 2.4m folding dish. Several self echo tests too. dave

From paper to actual, finally! Bolted support for 3.2 meter dish ordered from OK1DFC. Three inch slew drive is next. More 100 pound pavers to place (1,600 pounds first layer). Added layer if needed. Looking forward to getting this completed! dave

1296 EME at CN88ka. Mini-tower platform and new slew drive FINALLY play with the 2.4m dish! After rotation checks and cable management review. Best Sun to Cold Sky noise today was an easy 9.25 dB (with SFI Index at 134). WinTrak rotator control system working great. dave

Test flight of the Power Sled 24 kite on the Oregon Coast. Future 135' EFHW antenna lifter for some QRP operations. Reminded me of reeling in a 50 pound halibut - hard! Next step is a sand anchor.
