Very much enjoyed welcoming guests to Imperial War Museums London yesterday evening for the private view of #Churchill in Cartoons - including several members of the Churchill family, who kindly loaned cartoons for the display. #Churchill150 ✌️
Today marks 150 years since #Churchill was born. I spoke to Will Hollis about his legacy & the time he spent at the Imperial War Museums #ChurchillWarRooms during #WW2 #Churchill150 ✌️ More details here: gbnews.com/news/winston-c…
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at the Dickens Museum! Visiting last week got me into the festive spirit 🎄
#WinstonChurchill died #OnThisDay in 1965. This photo from Imperial War Museums's Collections, taken during his state funeral, appears with many others in a new book I authored, 'Winston Churchill: IWM Photography Collection' amazon.co.uk/Winston-Church… Image: IWM(RAF-T 5119)

It was a pleasure to welcome Her Majesty the Queen to the Charles Dickens Museum, in celebration of our centenary year. The Queen toured the historic rooms, met staff and volunteers and heard some readings by our patrons, Simon Callow and Miriam Margolyes. The Royal Family 👑🇬🇧

I’ve curated many exhibitions but never thought I would be in one..! Congrats to Kasia Tee & Dan Hancox for their Cursed Objects exhibition about museum shops at the Peltz Gallery. Some of the museum pens which I’ve been collecting since I was a child are featured. Go see it!
The display of nearly 30,000 ceramic poppies is now open The Tower of London. ‘The Tower Remembers’ marks the 80th anniversary of the end of #WW2 as we commemorate all those who were lost in war. #VEDay #VJDay
