Our pupils’ love of reading just keeps growing! Our wonderful librarian Mrs Savage has issued almost 3,000 more books this year than she did last year. Well done KHP book worms!

As the Fabulous Finish to their current topic, Curie Class travelled back in time to the 1940s to experience what life would have been like as an evacuee at Holdenby House. We learnt about rationing, how to ‘make do and mend’ and got to sit in an air raid shelter. A fantastic day

Our Year 5 and 6 girls' football team enjoyed their first 7-a-side match this week. They worked extremely hard and won the game 3-0! Well done to them all.

As their Super Start to their new topic, ‘Our School’, Seacole Class enjoyed walking to and touring the Secondary site. They loved seeing familiar staff faces and being toured by Year 8 pupils.

On Friday, we celebrated the upcoming Coronation weekend by wearing our wonderful crowns to lunch. We practised our royal waves and enjoyed some music as we ate.

Potter Class have loved their focused week on Supertato and all things superheroes. We’ve learnt that there are so many heroes and helpers in our community too. Not all superheroes wear capes!

We were very proud of our Arts Award Club who confidently performed their fantastic dance in assembly to the whole of the Primary phase. They were brilliant and it brought the first half of our summer term to a fabulous finish!

A huge well done to our first week of award winners. We celebrated a range of successes across the classes, from fabulous phonics to super understanding of square numbers.
