Our work is finally out Nature Communications showing the impact of long term use of #antibiotocs on #microbiome and common #dysbiosis associations in #EstMB cohort nature.com/articles/s4146… oliveraasmets University of Tartu Estonian Biobank
Honored to belong to this list of amazing scientist presenting at Vif. First time presenting with 37.7C fever tho. When partners in science get sick at the same time, but I at least maintain my voice. oliveraasmets owes me a drink.
Pulled off a little hat trick last Friday. 4 years of annual Instutute's conferences participated in, 3 years of Best (Poster) Presentation awards won. It's time to graduate. University of Tartu Estonian Biobank imcbUT

When you open Nature Briefing e-mail and find a news snippet about the work done in our institute. Proud of my colleagues and the things you do in small Estonia! We have the coolest workplace and most awesome colleagues Estonian Biobank genomicstartu nature.com/articles/d4158…
A new pre-print out lead by Kateryna Pantiukh 🇺🇦! Estonians, although being part of much studied Westernized populations, can still be used for discovering potentially new and relevant microbial species in the gut. Even more than 300 of them! Discovery phase in microbiome still ongoing🔬
Very excited that the final part of my PhD thesis on how #antibiotics usage long time ago can impair #gut #mucus function through the #microbiota is now published in Gut Microbes Taylor & Francis Research Insights! doi.org/10.1080/194909… Time to graduate and then…?
