I attended the Global AI Summit on Africa, organized by the Rwanda Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Ministry of ICT and Innovation | Rwanda in collaboration with World Economic Forum. Key discussions echoed a powerful message: AI should not stand for increasing inequality. It was an honour connecting with many amazing people! #GAISAfrica2025

I also attended two side events before the summit: Shaping Africa’s AI Governance Future hosted by Center for Law and Innovation and a screening of Coded Bias by Algorithmic Justice League at Norssken, a timely reminder of why #AIgovernance truly matters.

Members of the Global Shapers Community from Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon & Rwanda linked up with over 20 #globalshapers present. Thank you Kigali Global Shapers for hosting! Grateful for moments like these that remind us of the beauty of #community.
