So proud of Gov. Parson and Team 57. Mizzou held a groundbreaking for “The Michael L. Parson Meat Science Education and Training Laboratory.” The 25,000 sq.ft. facility will offer education and workforce development opportunities to contribute to one of MO’s largest industries.

Exciting times at Neosho Wildcats. It was a great day to be a Wildcat! The doors were officially opened to a 30,000 sq. ft. Agricultural Center. Over 400 students (grades 7-12) will go through those doors daily. This truly is hands-on, real world learning. Congratulations to all!

Last week, .Karla Eslinger visited Knox County High School in Edina, MO. She met with students and educators as they showcased their programs to promote high-level problem-solving skills and innovation and different career opportunities.

The first meeting of the MO School Funding Modernization Task Force is underway in Jefferson City. Per Governor Mike Kehoe’s Executive Order 25-14, the group will review & recommend changes to the K-12 school funding model & provide a final report to the Governor by December 1, 2026.
