A fantastic block cricket fixture in the sunshine today at King’s as we welcome Ellesmere College for 3 hardball games and 2 softball games. Lots of smiling faces as lots of boys and girls enjoy representing their school with pride. Good luck to all involved 🏏☀️

U12 cricket sixes competition today at King’s with 6 teams battling it out in great spirits in the sun. Well done to cricketers from St Mary’s, Sandbach and King’s Chester on a fantastic day, and especially to Cheadle Hulme as today’s overall winners 🏏👏☀️

Leon Betteridge is the new District Yr 7 1500m champion and record holder. Running 4:57.3 Milo Hughes came 2nd with a brilliant run for the The King's School boys.

We have two new 200m district athletics champions - Noah Jones-Walker in Yr 7 and Alex McGoldrick in Yr 8.

An excellent set of results for our The King's School Shells’ athletes. Ellory is the District Discus Champion, Zahra the High Jump Champion and Amelia a double champion winning both the 800m and Long Jump. A great day 👏🏼

To round the day off at the District Championships The King's School finish with winning relays for the Shell Girls and Remove Boys. It was an excellent day for all athletes representing the school today 👏🏼

It was great to welcome St Mary’s, Merchant Taylors and Sandbach High at King’s today for our U13 Girls Cricket Festival. Lots of development and fun had by all. We now look forward to the U12 Girls Cricket festival on Friday, plus our U13 girls Cheshire Cup match on Thursday 🏏

Thanks to King's Macclesfield Cricket for a fantastic block cricket fixture this weekend. Our school fields were packed with four very tight hardball cricket games and one girls softball cricket game. U15A, U14A, U13A games were thrillers that came down to the last wicket or last ball🏏👏

Congratulations to Thomas and Joe for their respective half centuries in this weekend’s U15A cricket game vs King’s Macclesfield - helping their team to an excellent first innings total which proved crucial in this very tight and well contested last game of the season🏏👏
