If I had made up sources, used AI to compose large portions, and straight plagiarized any work including my doctoral dissertation it would result in an automatic fail and dismissal from any reputable PhD program. Blaming it formatting is nonsensical.

If you are a high school student that used AI to write a report that contained fake references and when caught you told your teacher it was a formatting error, you would still get an automatic fail and get laughed at.

When you look at those that deny science one thing is crystal clear: they will believe contradictory propositions. This demonstrates they are necessarily mistaken. Example below.

This makes total sense to me: the majority Americans are largely ignorant of the rest of the world. Frankly, I'm surprised 23% got it correct. Some of these guesses are laughable.
