If you haven't had the opportunity, and you are able to get to it, the Lavery exhibition at the Ulster Museum is wonderful and a reminder of why the museum is such an important institution for the whole island.

Boss at Boucher was terrific, but there is another major artist paying a visit to (South) Belfast... Delighted to see this billboard up at the corner of Botanic Ave and Shaftesbury Sq marking the arrival of Caravaggio Ulster Museum. Get along if you can!

So enjoyed my visit to the Ulster Museum today to see the Troubles exhibition. If you haven’t been, do go - not least because of the brilliant way it enables different stories of the past to be told. As it says “While we have a shared past, we do not have a shared memory.”
