Dr. Jaime Perales Puchalt and Kelly G. Loeb represented KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at last week's Alzheimer's Association - Central & Western Kansas's Memory Gala. Held in a beautiful art museum, featuring an excellent immersive listening experience with people with dementia and their caregivers telling their stories.




Congratulations to KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center's Dr. Heather Wilkins for her RO1 Award for which she was recognized at a recent Alzheimerās Association AWARE Luncheon. Itās a five-year grant to study the function of amyloid precursor protein (APP) in cellās energy levels.
