Today, we gathered our entire audit staff in Frankfort for training at our 2025 Summer Conference. I am thankful to them for their hard work and dedication to KY throughout the year.

Today, the Ombudsman provided public comment on the recent CHFS CHILD Waiver proposal. CHFS’s method for implementing the CHILD Waiver could exclude children w/ autism & other conditions from receiving the full extent of needed Medicaid benefits and services.

Floyd County lost Willard Kinzer today. He was a remarkable leader who raced cars, supported churches and schools, and was loved by all. I was moved at my Papaw’s funeral when Willard walked in to quietly pay his respects to his friend, my Papaw. I am praying for the Kinzers.

Today I was delighted to host Xander Lindon, a rising Senior at Lexington Christian , to shadow my team & me. Xander is a bright student who has the goal of attending the Naval Academy. As the granddaughter of a WWII Sailor, I know Xander will be great at this. I wish him the best!
