KCA had a fantastic March board meeting! Thanks to the Jessamine Co. Extension Office and Cattlemen’s Association for hosting and feeding us. We also had a great turnout for our Beef Checkoff Academy, hosted by Cattlemen’s Beef Board representatives Davis Gidney & Sarah Metzler.

Funding for the KY Livestock Innovation Center was approved thanks to a KY General Assembly appropriation in HB1. KCA will receive $22 million for the construction of the center that will be located at the UK C. Oran Little Research Center in Woodford Co. bit.ly/4a2kn6T
