Excited to share our latest preprint: Systematic identification and characterization of novel genes in the regulation and biogenesis of photosynthetic machinery biorxiv.org/content/10.110… Proteomic data for 100 mutants reveal functions of novel genes with roles in photosynthesis!

We identify with high confidence roles in photosynthesis for 70 previously-uncharacterized genes. The data allow the assignment of 34 of these genes to the biogenesis or regulation of one or more specific photosynthetic complexes.

My Postdoc work is finally starting the road of application. It is now available as a preprint in bioRxiv: biorxiv.org/content/10.110… and under review (fingers crossed). Thank you to my mentor - Martin Jonikas, and the co-authors.
