In this new preprint (doi.org/10.31234/osf.i…), with Doby Rahnev Kai Xue Medha Shekhar, we investigated whether metacognitive noise, hypothesized to affect only Type-2 confidence ratings, also appears in Type-1 perceptual decisions influenced by expectations or rewards.

We humans can destroy the earth, but we can also protect it. We must educate ourselves to understand how our life-style today has to change. We need to use natural resources differently. On World Environment Day we have to think seriously about the situation we find ourselves in.
