A final thought tonight on Ryan and Mamdani's victories: Both represent a repudiation of developer cash in New York city races. In Buffalo, it was Scanlon who the major developers backed. So much so that one of them, Paladino, became a boogeyman. And in NYC, it was Cuomo.

This is a testament to the Governor’s lack of vision and leadership. The leader of the NY Democratic Party should be able to bring the party together and endorse the Democratic nominee against a compromised mayor and a Republican.
