I’m proud to have helped Redbridge Foodbank get a permanent home. They’ve done the hard work of creating the perfect space to store and pack parcels (16000 last year!) that are a lifeline to local people. I know times are tough but if you can, please donate, their work is immense.

I’m very saddened by this news. Neil was a lovely man and did so much to support me over many election campaigns. Deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Neil. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Do not dump waste on our streets, if you do and we catch you it’s a £1000 fine, no excuses. Take your waste to the recycle centres for free. We all have a duty to be good citizens and make sure we don’t litter, keep our front gardens tidy and be respectful neighbours.

The weather is beautiful but there is always a risk of flooding with a sudden downpour especially when the ground is hard. Our teams continue their work of clearing drains across the borough to reduce any impact. We can help by ensuring our driveways have planted areas.

Huge thanks to the brave London Fire Brigade fighters tackling the large blaze on Epping Forest Wanstead Flats. Roads still shut around Centre/Lake House Rd. so avoid for time being. Remember no fires, no BBQs, no cigarette ends and no litter as all can cause these fires.
