A blood-based α-syn SAA showed promise as a novel prodromal biomarker for prodromal PD. In the results, PD patients had a positive α-syn SAA 1 to 10 years before diagnosis, compared to tests in 30% of iRBD patients and none of the healthy controls. loom.ly/aehIYqs
