Yday at IISER Mohali Bilal Bilal Habib, Wildlife Institute of India delivered a research seminar on the movement ecology of large carnivores in India and using that data for devicing strategies for mitigating human wildlife conflict. A talk that made me wish, to work on conservation biology.

Kanika Rajput presented on the role of breeding status, group size and predation risk on the movement ecology of jungle babblers. Her study highlights breeding status to have strong influence on movement patterns and grouping as a predator avoidance strategy. MoEF&CC Wildlife Institute of India
