Blue-collar workers, firefighters, and police officers were suffering due to lax requirements regarding their health and safety. That had to change. I’ve passed a number of bills to ensure that the hardworking people of our community are protected on and off the job

It is with great pride that I was able to accept the Ed Mayne Labor Champion Award this year. Workers are the backbone of our community and deserve recognition and consideration for all of their hard work and contributions.

As election day gets closer, I wanted to hop on and remind you to register if you haven’t already! Visit vote.gov to check your registration status. Being a part of the democratic process is an enormous responsibility and privilege. Don’t miss out.
