Glad to meet Minister of Justice of Thailand พันตำรวจเอก ทวี สอดส่อง to discuss cooperation against drug trafficking, production & use in Southeast Asia.   We also addressed regional challenges of cybercrime, scams & organized crime, and plans for the 15th anniversary of the Bangkok Rules.

A highlight of my visit to Thailand was meeting the incredible UN Office on Drugs & Crime staff of our Southeast Asia office. I was inspired learning about their successes and discussing how to jointly overcome challenges. I’m grateful for their hard work and dedication.

These leaders gathered in China to be trained on UN Office on Drugs & Crime-World Health Organization (WHO) drug #prevention standards, explored family & lifeskills initiatives, & left with plans to transform their communities.
