Glad to meet Minister of Justice of Thailand พันตำรวจเอก ทวี สอดส่อง to discuss cooperation against drug trafficking, production & use in Southeast Asia. We also addressed regional challenges of cybercrime, scams & organized crime, and plans for the 15th anniversary of the Bangkok Rules.


A highlight of my visit to Thailand was meeting the incredible UN Office on Drugs & Crime staff of our Southeast Asia office. I was inspired learning about their successes and discussing how to jointly overcome challenges. I’m grateful for their hard work and dedication.


Empowering youth = sustainable change. These leaders gathered in China to be trained on UN Office on Drugs & Crime-World Health Organization (WHO) drug #prevention standards, explored family & lifeskills initiatives, & left with plans to transform their communities. They're the ambassadors of a thriving future!

In collaboration with China's National Narcotics Control Commission (NNCC), UN Office on Drugs & Crime launched the #FamilyUNited Programme in Chengdu.
