The statement ‘weeds aren’t resistant to steel’ needs an asterisk next to it (IMO). Physical disturbance can be a good tool for weed mgmt. However, its performance can be a function of the timing and intensity and frequency of operations. Plus biology of the target.

Young grapevine tissues, including leaves, stems, tendrils, and flowers are often hairy (pubescent) and/or pink or red colored. Pubescence and red pigments help protect the young tissues from excessive light

Fertigating with NH4+ fertilizers can severely reduce root zone pH. If you're seeing pH drops in your orchard, or have soils with a low pH buffering capacity (lighter textured soils) switch to nitrate containing N fertilizers. #fertilization #agriculture #orchards #almonds
