Barclays just bailed on Pride - and more will follow. Our host Tanya predicted it last month, when Trans in the City founder Bobbi Pickard openly dissed the bank at the Stonewall Conference. Who needs 'partners' like that? Time to ✂️ Link to full episode ⬇️ Thanks to @soppy_stern

I expect the misleading headline and first para of this article to be urgently corrected. Trans people's rights haven't been reduced and I didn't at any time say that they had. I said that trans people have been lied to about what their rights are. theguardian.com/society/2025/j…

‘Just like their originator, many of Spark’s chatty, noticing characters have no interest in navel-gazing and little self-doubt.’ To spend time with them is relaxing and amusing, writes Kathleen Stock👇 buff.ly/RkzsuD8

The misrepresentation in certain sections of the media of what the UK Supreme Court's recent ruling actually means is outrageous. The ruling clarified that women and girls have sex-based rights under British law, and that those rights haven't changed since women gained them.

No one showed up for my book reading event. I know this happens and I'm trying really hard to keep it together but I feel terrible that the shop stayed open to host me for nothing.

THIS DAY in 1954, Alan Turing took his own life. Helped to win WWII. Saved 100s of 1000s of lives. Created the first Electronic Computer. A True Genius of his time. Driven to desperate measures by a Society that didn't understand a different sexuality.

Was just on the phone to a financial services company where the recorded voice options sounded like a real person taking to you. Complete with umms and ers and breathing sounds. So creepy.

I don’t really care if straight men in dresses want to have a parade. I do care that they’ve stolen gay pride and appropriated our struggle in an attempt to further the public acceptance of their fetish.

Camden Council has an incredible track record of creating world class public housing. Most of the flats on the Whittington Estate are privately owned now unfortunately. If only London councils would prioritise this kind of elegance and affordability for all these days.

These videos of kids falling to the floor sobbing because they’ve been given a puppy or a new bike make me uncomfortable. It’s clear their parents expect them to ‘perform’ their joy publicly. It feels exploitative.

The EHRC must provide clarity in situations made DELIBERATELY complex by LGBTQ+ campaigners. Muddying the waters is a tactic that has enabled them to circumvent the law to the detriment of LGB people. Enough.
