WellingtonUni GNS Science Te Pū Ao By dating tephra from proximal, distal onshore and offshore locations, we refine the age of the Waimihia eruption from Taupō volcano, NZ. The widespread deposits provide an important isochron for synchronising sediment archives in many disciplines, including paleoseismology!


Our research team is looking for a postdoc for a key role in developing a probabilistic coseismic coastal deformation model for Aotearoa New Zealand, 3 yr position.
