Is Recorder Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap going rogue? Did he just fire another attorney..this time Andrew Gould???.. Even after County attorney Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell told Heap she is the one that assigns outside counsel? Stop wasting taxpayer money on lawyers Heap and sit down and negotiate.

Frivolous lawsuit. Law firm that filed it may not have been authorized to do so by Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell contrary to AZ law. If so, serious legal consequences may result. I expect Mitchell to assert her lawful authority & not permit the Recorder to usurp her statutory powers.

Meanwhile, Heap has been making promises that the law doesn’t allow him to keep. He’s consistently displayed a lack of understanding of his job, election law, and facts. He resorts to lies & personal attacks because he’s overwhelmed by his role. He wallows in mud. He’ll lose

This will end in a bad way for Justin Heap but it’s Maricopa County voters and taxpayers who will see time and resources wasted on this selfish adventure

JUST IN: Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell sends cease/desist letter to the America First Legal lawyer representing Recorder Justin Heap, saying Rogers has no authority to represent Heap in a lawsuit he filed against the supervisors & demanding he voluntarily withdraw it.

Panicked constituents are contacting my office because Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap erroneously sent them (and 83,000 other people) a letter saying they were going to be reclassified to an inactive voter.

Since the Recorder hasn't put anything on his website or social media to guide them, I will. If you received Heap's letter, contact the Recorder at [email protected] or 602.506.3535. votebeat.org/arizona/2025/0…

My prayers for the family of Charlie Kirk. My heart goes out to the many Turning Point USA volunteers who so joyfully worked on many of my legislative races over the years. You inspired me, you give me hope. Keep that dream alive for our country and for the next generation.
