A lot of world leaders talk a good climate game, but when push comes to shove they have failed to live up to their words. With Greens in government in Scotland we're stepping up to the challenge and delivering the greenest policy programme of any government since devolution.

I'm supporting the #ScrapTheCap campaign that was launched yesterday. The benefit cap locks people into poverty, and prevents them accessing the support they need to live a decent life. Let’s give families what they need and deserve. Let’s #MeetTheNeed and help end poverty.

Managed to do the #BigGardenBirdWatch2022 between storms. So many chaffinches, goldfinches, siskins and tits on the feeders it was impossible to get an accurate count.

Fishboxes being loaded from a French boat onto a refrigerated lorry, bound for the continent. No fish went through the local market, no @marinescotland personnel to verify that these activities were legitimate. We know illegal fishing happens in Shetland: This is how. 1/3

80% of Scottish households say climate change is an "urgent and immediate" problem. Scottish Greens in government have secured billions to tackle the climate emergency. But we need more Greens in councils to lead in our communities. You can make that a reality at May's election

My photo doesn't do it justice, but even in dreich weather the Glasgow - Fort William train line is one of the most spectacular around. Even better to see those views from a publicly owned railway!
