If you lived in Syria, you would know this is such an incredible moment. Try to think of Syrians as human beings, instead of geopolitics, just for a second. Imagine how people are feeling as their disappeared loved ones are being found in prisons, alive.

No killing, no airstrikes, no starvation, no injuries, no sieges, no loss of our loved ones or ourselves. The killer is gone. It’s hysterical. For hours with no sleep, I am still unable to process this, unable to grasp that Syria is free. Our country is ours again. #FreeSyria

While Syrians were digging the ground looking for their detainees & begging for information about Assad’s secret prisons, #US was funding Israeli attacks across #Syria & #EU was changing its laws to kick the syrian refugees away. Colonial hypocrisy at its best. We wont forget.
