It’s Doug Stanhope’s birthday today, and I’m forever thankful for meeting this stranger in an airport in 2019, who then befriended my father and spent a summer taking care of my mom with dementia. (And also my cat.) He’s a big (and best) chapter in my next book. Thx Stanhope.
