Duke Center for Geriatric Surgery Biweekly Research meeting: Kathryn Porter Starr, PhD, RD presents on pitfalls of identifying and optimizing pre-op malnutrition in older adults. Many pitfalls: lack of universal screening, less protein intake. Key take away: Albumin not sufficient to screen!
