And another season of #SeedsforSnapper comes to an epic close - we reached our goal of 1 million #Posidonia australis seeds dispersed! Thanks to all the volunteers at School of Biological Sciences, UWA & OzFish that made this happen, can't wait for the monitoring! 🌱 #seagrass #restoration

This grey wolf was patrolling her eel-grass-covered mudflat territory at low tide on Vanvouver Island, and walked right past the camera, allowing Bertie Gregory to take this shot with the remote trigger. Vote in the #WPYPeoplesChoice Award bit.ly/WPY58-PeoplesC…

Frederick, Bianca and Katie were in Knysna to collect seagrass and sediment samples for their transcriptome and microplastic studies for ProjectSeastore . Great to see some healthy looking seagrass beds and happy students!

And seahorses do occur in seagrass. Here is a Knysna seahorse from South Africa that was inadvertently sampled during some seagrass monitoring... happily went back into the water. Thank you Katie Watson for the video.

Fantastic day Southern African Society of Aquatic Scientists with the Sophie von der Heyden! 🌱 great feedback on my seagrass restoration work as part of ProjectSeastore! Andrew Ndhlovu #teamseagrass #seagrassrestoration
