Agree with this ‘delivery app’ take. Disability justice must be intersectional. Accessibility that is based on the exploitation of vulnerable workers is not justice. We must demand, fight for, and build better solutions!

Our Parliament is listening to 'evidence' from American assisted death advocates, and only one (invited last minute, reluctantly) representative of disabled peoples' orgs.

Disabled people are not a burden. They are our neighbours and friends — and they deserve to live fulfilling lives just like anyone else. A statement from the Independent Alliance on cuts to welfare.

This may be the worst publication of all. #DWP has published figs showing the overall cost to the economy of all disabled people who cannot work. How exactly is this not making the argument that disabled people who don't work are a burden on the state? gov.uk/government/sta…

There is always an alternative. Remember that when you hear any claims that cuts are needed because the economic circumstances have changed. A Wealth Tax of just 2% on assets over £10 million would raise £24 BILLION per year. That's the "tough choice" that should be made.

It's been eye-opening to realise that many people on here ranting about how they saw a really nice car and the owner had got it on the Motability scheme had probably actually just seen a really nice car with a Blue Badge and they don't know that those are two different things.

Fairplay to DPAC 👏👏👏 As Rachel Reeves stands at the dispatch box announcing £4.8bn of cuts to the welfare system — alongside increased spending on militarism — the cry of “#WelfareNotWarfare” can be heard loud and clear in Westminster. #SpringStatement

The safety net is there for all of us — we will defend the rights and dignity of disabled people because an injury to one is an injury to all.

Disabled people launch biggest fightback against the government in a decade We were on the ground today with DPAC Stop the War & others; the biggest since 2016's blocking of Westminster Bridge, rightly so. Our photo/video report #WelfareNotWarfare thecanary.co/trending/2025/…

I have spent the day being accused by non-disabled people of being “dishonest” in my description of how PIP works, and patiently providing (easily available!) evidence to show them otherwise. The system is so unfair that people presume I’m lying when I explain how it works.

On Wednesday as part of DPAC's #WelfareNotWarfare protest, I shared a poem I wrote in response to the #SpringStatement. In every way this is 'What We Stand to Lose' - I hope this helps others feel less alone in this pain and overwhelm #DisabilityBenefitCuts ❤️1/9

It really adds an additional dimension to having your rights challenged when the challenger is wearing Easter bunny ears 🐰🐣 GWR, I was ramp boarded at Oxford 20 mins ago by a staff member who chastised me & other wheelchair user for “not checking in with [her]” …
