I see people are complaining about Lucy Connolly’s bodycam footage not being reviewed quickly enough. It’s been 8 days since she was allegedly manhandled in HMP Peterborough. Meanwhile, there are victims waiting 4 years for rape trials. Justice delayed is justice denied.

I don’t know when people turned so interminably mean. Imagine seeing someone crying, and in great distress, and your first reaction is to think about how much clout you can get for it on social media. I can’t fathom it.

No actual denial of the allegations here, just an ad hominem attack on the journalist who has not yet published a story. A well-trodden path by those with something to hide. You can’t hang your hat on uncovering corruption then moan when someone exposes your own corruption.
