Usually we work with our heads, but for this occasion we put our legs to workπΆπΌββοΈπΆββοΈ Together we raised 4,179 euros to support the important work of Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen #teamCESSMIR π₯³

Arif and I were invited to speak at UGent Recht & Criminologie on Australian asylum policy, known here as "the Australian model" and why it shouldnt be emulated Thanks to Ellen Desmet and Ruben Wissing and also to Katrijn Maryns for a great post-lecture discussion


I enjoyed our panel this morning, including Sara Delva from MULTIPLES π Research Centre ποΈ presenting her fantastic project on language assistance in criminal trials

Another big week! Monday and Tuesday, Katrijn Maryns , @justanotherMJ and I ran a workshop on language and asylum (a great 2 days with 10 participants representing 6 countries) and now I'm in snowy Stockholm to share my research at Stockholm University π€
