Update- I had a dream I was running a code on day 1 of residency. But also wasn’t too stressed about it??

I’m not sure what’s happening with the airline industry, but my international flight was cancelled in March. My family’s domestic flights were cancelled and delayed last weekend, and now my flight was cancelled 😢

I’ve had such a bad day and residency hasn’t even started yet (ok day unrelated to medicine) Will be listening to Noah Kahan until further notice

I’ve maxed out loans and credit cards, and bc I had no foresight have to pay double rent for a month. I have no idea when I’m getting paid but it’s a really tough time June/July starting intern year 🫠

Requesting a day off in residency feels like I’m in high school pretending I have a dentist appointment so I can miss class

I think we’re going to elope or have a micro wedding (20ish people), and while I love the idea that means less wedding gifts 🥲🥲

Had to deliver bad news for the first time ever today. It was really hard on me too. I hope my patients know that

I stayed 2 hours late after a shift and I am still going home with my cup full. I know I did everything I could for my patients, and man I chose the right speciality 🙂
