Absolutely loving the latest childhood trauma research out of UL Psychology daragh bradshaw on long-term heart reactivity changes and Anna-Mariya Lashkay making links between stigma, disidentification and dissociation. I am so *here* for this easp2023krk

Congratulations to Dr Blerina Këllezi for this most deserved award.

Just passed my viva (minor corrections) How do I feel? Too big to process today. First family PhD: every step was new territory. But I didn’t do it alone, thanks to Dr Blerina Këllezi @MikeRennoldson Kate Radford Danai Serfioti Return to Work After Major Trauma NIHR ARC East Midlands GIHNTU NTU Psychology 🙏🏽

Being a trauma psychologist today meant taking a "break" from marking to attend a brilliant lecture on wartime (WWII) sexual slavery or "comfort women"Â by Dr Sachiyo Tsukamoto. Thank you NTU Research ...the colleague conversations after made my week.

Already loving ICSIH - Social Identity & Health Conference : I'm in joyful student mode again, learning about applying biometric measures of allostatic load in social identity research. Thank you Eadaoin Whelan Grace McMahon for content and NTU Psychology for sending me.

Perfectly timed with the #CRSV international day to end conflict associated sexual violence, Dr Blerina Këllezi 's #icsih6 talk summarised a holistic approach to justice developed from many years of research with the most vulnerable trauma populations. GIHNTU NTU Research

My first conf. presentation as 'Dr' ICSIH - Social Identity & Health Conference, with so much gratitude to my encouragers: NIHR ARC East Midlands and NTU Research for funding me; @Rowtate and Emma Rowley for investing in the research question and Dr Blerina Këllezi for her mentoring and supervision superpowers, + all named on slide

Reading this social psychology take on the weekend's events helped me... I was heartened to see the quick off the mark anti-fascist response. Sheffield in particular. John Drury 's blog explains why that response matters so much.

The inaugural lecture of someone you really like is a pleasure; I'm rather in awe of Professor Pam Alldred's lifetime of achievements and authenticity (including the stripey tights). "A good girl never goes anywhere without her politics" - Yass! Congrats! Professor Pam Alldred NTU Research

Valuable conference on childhood trauma in diverse communities in Leeds today #UKPTS2025 ... I have learnt so much: Wow! moments from @LeedsSolace, ATTUNE Research Project, Andrea Danese, Dr Siobhan Hugh-Jones, @ReTHINK and Dr Eva A Sprecher to name a few. More over on BlueSky...
