When was the last time Manchester United did not have a a Scotsman either as manager or listed as a player in the first team squad? One for Michael Crick maybe...

One for the statisticians but I would be amazed if there's any other nation that has lost as many late, vital, goals as Scotland over the past 10-15 years.

Interesting seeing Finland totally unafraid to throw in a raw, young Aberdeen winger at Wembley in a team that's more than holding their own.

Cruel beast the Scottish Cup.. #Threave & #Stranraer tie had it all including, in true Scottish football fashion, a late kick in the guts. 94th min 3-2 winner & a red card for heroic Charlie Watson, a 19 year old battling stage 4 cancer. Well done BBC Sport Scotland for top coverage

Willie has high standards & is always worth listening to, but maybe harsh here. Celtic got smashed 7-1 in Dortmund. Did it drain all momentum? Doesn't look like it. Back on the horse we go. Stand free #Aberdeen

Three big changes have reshaped this Scotland side. Shift to back 4; extra man in midfield allowing for inclusion of Doak as winger & finally the return of Gordon in goal. We know the big players, but must say Souttar & Kenny McLean have stepped up & deserve a lot of praise.

Very sad news, probably the greatest Scot to kick a ball, a great character and a man who never forgot his humble roots. RIP Denis

Want, disease, ignorance, idleness and squalor - and add a sixth, depravity. And this, in 21st century Scotland. BBC News - How victims shone a light on 'beastie house' child abuse ring bbc.com/news/articles/…

Back in 1994 #Scotland travelled to #Greece for the first time in a European Championship qualifier. The only goal of the game was a controversial one, would you have given it? #GRESCO 🇬🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

#Adolescence is some watch. Harrowing & terrifying for parents. 5☆ acting esp new star Owen Cooper & peerless Stephen Graham. Can only give plot 4.75, tho. Maybe denial but just how realistic is it that boy of that character, background, influence would do it?Is there precedent?

Its been great to see this shared online & given global reach, but can't stress enough that local papers can only keep covering key local stories like this one if people go out and buy or subscribe to the newspaper. Thanks as always to all who do.👍
