Just found a beautiful Leptoceridae (I believe is Mystacides sepulchralis) floating in the water near my dock.

Found a cool Summer chafer (Amphimallon solstitiale) around the campfire.

While the kids are having fun, I found this Ephemeridae on my wife’s back down at the dock, along with walking through a swarm of Leptoceridae (I think, based on color). #CottageLife

Saw some copulating Robber flies (Machimus sadyates), and then one on my van incase you needed it on this fine beautiful Monday.

Got home from the cottage, and now the youngest of the #PiccardGirlTrifecta and I are out pulling samples of fireflies (Family Lampyridae) for some bioluminescent and invertebrates lesson I was asked to teach at a summer school on Thursday.
