❓ You asked, we answered: ✔️ The duck in question is not albino. It is a domestic duck that flew here in 2022 and decided to make us it’s home. 💗 Bird Sanctuary staff affectionately call her “Craelle da Bill”

The W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary will be closed, July 4, 2025, so staff can enjoy the Holiday with their family.

❓ You asked, we answered: ✔️ As of June 2025 we have 29 resident birds that we take care of. 🦆 There are numerous wild birds that come and go as they please.

❓ You asked, we answered ✔️ To attract birds to your yard you can make your yard into a bird friendly habitat. Plant native flowers, bushes and trees in your yard. You can also provide a water source. Learn move via the Cornell website, allaboutbirds.org.

❓ You asked, we answered ✔️ The ducks stay with the swans because they both need the same type of habitat. 💧 Ducks and swans both like lakes, ponds, and create ground nests. Both species are also omnivores and eat by dabbling.
