Delighted to announce that I will start as a TT Assistant Professor Emory University SOM in Dept of #Cell Bio & Human #Genetics in Jan 2024. Das lab will take a high-resolution dive into #RNA regulation in #neuronal health and diseases! Will be hiring soon, so please stay tuned.

And another defense! This time from our very own Doug in the Moberg Lab lab. It’s been so fun to watch his story snout the role hormones play in damaged tissues that are regenerating. So proud of you Doug! #HaveANiceLife

Today marks 26 year since the Corbett lab opened Emory University I have been privileged to work with many amazing scientists over the years. Many now have illustrious careers of their own in science/medicine. Collaborations and colleagues at Emory and beyond have made it a joy!

Not a bad way to start #ICG2023 by winning 100 AUD! Thanks to Millennium Science for a fun time and for providing products that aid in scientific advancement and research! International Congress of Genetics 2023 Human Genetics Society of Australasia Genetics Society of America

Our new story on the role of the Nab2 RBP in limiting m6A on Sxl mRNA in the drosophila CNS is online eLife - the journal tinyurl.com/3e2t9vea This was a great collaboration with MeyerLab and Dr. Anita Corbett- (She/her) 🏳️🌈. Congrats to all authors!

Great story led by two very amazing graduate students! Emory Genetics and Molecular Biology and Emory Biochemistry Cell & Developmental Biology

HHMI Emory University Emory Biochemistry Cell & Developmental Biology Emory LGS Emory Diversifying Graduate Education Taylor is very deserving of the Gilliam Fellowship, and I am fortunate to work with her 💛 We also thank Dr. Anita Corbett- (She/her) 🏳️🌈 for support.

Time flies (🪰see what I did there 💪) when you are doing cool science, building an outstanding team, and raking in research funding! Congrats to Dr. Derrick J. Morton former Emory FIRST IRACDA Program fellow and Emory College postdoc on his exciting accomplishments so far- one to watch 👀 BWFUND

Very happy to have our new m6A sensor technology highlighted in Nature Chem Bio. Congratulations again to all authors B. Fadi Marayati, Ph.D., Holley Lab, and @TheHornerLab on the great wok! nature.com/articles/s4158…

Thanks to all the #RNA24 organizers, the The RNA Society, and Dr. Anita Corbett- (She/her) 🏳️🌈 for a fantastic RNA 2024 Meeting! I learned a ton about RNA and met some wonderful new and old friends! “You gotta ❤️ #RNA!
