The Bamboo Principle: For 5 years there is no evidence of growth, it all takes place underground. In 6 weeks bamboo plants can grow up to 90ft tall. Just because you don't see visible results right away, doesn't mean progress isn't being made. Stay the course. Keep fighting.

Sports are mentally/physically/emotionally tough, but they can teach you life lessons that you can use regardless of what you plan to do in the future. Grit, discipline, sacrifice, overcoming adversity & strengthening character are just the beginning of where sports can take you!

Could you NCAA ? If so, do what’s right and fair on behalf of the people under your leadership. Not just for BU but for future programs who are in a “transitional” phase.

Simple. Smart. Solid. Playing off two feet increases options. Options are good. More Options, more ways to create, keep, and convert advantages. This skill needs to be taught more 🏀

The NCAA needs to allow Bellarmine full access and rights in Division I, and do so immediately. Denying it is discriminatory and flat-out wrong. So much for “athlete welfare.”
